The Civil Engineering Department at Antalya Bilim University aims to educate its students as successful engineers at both the national and international levels through its undergraduate program, which is delivered entirely in English and designed to be completed in four years. In accordance with the relevant regulations of our University, students are required to complete the program within a maximum period of eight years.
Our Department admits students each year through the national centralized placement system administered by ÖSYM, in accordance with the success ranking and minimum score requirements determined for engineering programs. The admission of international students is carried out in line with the procedures and principles established by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) and Antalya Bilim University.
Our Civil Engineering Department offers a contemporary learning environment that integrates education, research, and practice through its strong and dynamic academic staff. The Department currently consists of 2 Professors, 1 Associate Professor, 5 Assistant Professors, and 3 Research Assistants. Our students receive education in current engineering knowledge and technologies under the guidance of experienced and highly qualified academics.
Our curriculum, designed in accordance with international standards, covers the fundamental disciplines of civil engineering, including structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, transportation engineering, hydraulics, and construction materials. Theoretical courses are supported by practical applications conducted in the construction materials, soil mechanics, hydraulics, and structural laboratories, enabling students to strengthen their abilities to analyze engineering problems, conduct experimental studies, and develop effective engineering solutions.
Our Department adopts a project-based learning approach, encouraging students to develop analytical thinking, teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills. Through our strong academic infrastructure, modern laboratory facilities, international collaborations, and close relationships with industry, our graduates successfully pursue careers in public institutions, the private sector, international organizations, and academia.
